Meet my Best Friend

Oh no you didn't! Okay...kidding. But seriously, who hasn't heard of Zooey Deschanel by now? This post is long overdue but I seriously love this girl. I want her to be my best friend. Why? Because she is perfect. Technically, I'd just be jealous of her the whole time if she were my friend. But still...she is perfect: beautiful blue eyes, glossy thick curly hair and fringe (her hair is one of her features imo), voice of an angel (okay cheesy stuff I know but her indie folk music is totally my thing), quirky take on fashion...there is just something very ladylike and charming about Ms. Deschanel.

She knows she is endurable with those big round eyes of her. She really looks like a doll, especially with her long eyelashes and curly brown hair.

The movie that started it all. Note how JGL is in the photo as well, adore him. The reason why I loved 500 days so much was probably because how the character, Summer was very much like Zooey. I don't mean that in the way they act...well kind of to an extent (but fyi Zooey would never break JGL's heart) but also her style...clothes...makeup etc. Take this blue patterned flower halter-neck dress for e.g. No one can look as gorgeous as Zooey

She also has style on the red carpet. Okay I admit Zooey has questionable tastes in footwear but at least she didn't go for boring old black pumps! Other than that, I love this look from the very elegant embellished dress with a cute bow detail to her diamond drop earrings.

Perfection. Zooey looked gorgeous as ever wearing a very prom- like (but pulls it off, not tacky at all!) dress with a sweetheart neckline, black pumps (they work to contrast the red lips and her heavy black bangs) and to top it off, bright red lips.

She's holding hands with JGL in this photo. I know it. Why would anyone want to cut him out...?!

She knows she looks pretty with those blue eyes of her. They are seriously gorgeous (after Alexis Bledel probably). Pretty eyes run in her family. Just google Emily Deschanel.

She would never pull that trigger.

Girl in the Big Apple

Found these gorgeous and stunning photos of Olivia Palermo and had to feature them. She is on this blog way too often but credit must be given when she looks this amazing.

Looking very preppy and stylish in a cute emsemble. Crisp white bow shirt, plaid high- waisted shorts, rain trenchcoat and tights complete this perfect look.

Olivia looks glamorous wearing a multi- coloured patterned shoulder top, skirt and black fur tuxedo jacket. She also carried her favourite vintage Hermes crocodile clutch. She knows she looks good when she's posing like that.

Palermo dons a pair of skinny leather pants (or tights?!), navy military jacket and champagne silk vest. She finished her look with gold jewelry and her trademark red nails.

Looking sophisticated and confident while strutting in the NYC, Palermo wears a very business and posh look. She wore a black scarf, military jacket, wide- leg grey pants and a very unaffordable Hermes 'Birkin' bag.
